Wanting something different from a static banner for my portfolio site I thought it would be a good idea to showcase my animation abilities in a short video going over a few small topics.

With my love for the 80s aesthetics I decided to create a small animation to put up on my Instagram... I never did upload it there

This is a enhanced version of an older 3D animation I made for my application at the Netherlands Film Academy.

This is a tv-commercial I made for the Lidl NL.

To create this animation I worked together with a photographer who helped me with taking pictures of the gourmet set. Made slighty before the Christmas season for the Albert Heijn I focussed heavily on their already published Christmas-look.

This is a render of an ammonite I created at my internship company. I used Blender for the quick set up of the model and used 3dsMax for further enhancements. The textures were created using Photoshop. I composited my render in AfterEffects and used V-Ray for rendering.

Ding, ding, ding! The weather is nice and so is the food from the barbecue! I tried to capture the warmth from the BBQ in this animation. The spatula and products add something playful, making it a joy to watch.

As a limited timed special a newly installed Albert Heijn promoted their Valentine roses. This called for a romantic looking video letting customers know what was on sale. Using Adobe After Effects and stock-footage I created this animation from scratch, from idea to concept to final product.

In an effort to create a visual of something I could hold in my hand I used my brothers phone as reference. The Huawei p20 Lite is a robust yet elegant phone, and I just love the metalic blue they used. Modeled and rendered in Blender. The texture was made with Substance Painter.
